I come from a below-poverty-line family where both of my parents depend on day-to-day wages to support our family. There are six siblings in total, and because of our financial situation, continuing my education has always been a challenge and a dream I was afraid I might not be able to achieve.

I am beyond grateful to QuestGlobal Connect Foundation for providing me with financial assistance and helping me with my college admission and semester fees. Their support has given me the opportunity to continue my education and live my dream of going to college and experiencing student life like any other normal student.

Both of my parents are farmers and growing up I saw firsthand how hard they worked to provide for our family. There were always struggles to pay our school fees despite studying in government schools. As the eldest child in the family I had dreams of going to college but even the financial burden of a government college was too much for my family to afford.

Eventually I had to give up on my dream of pursuing higher education and started working to help support my family. At the same time I was also trying my best to help with my younger sister’s education and our family’s daily necessities. One of my biggest worries was that my younger sister might also have to give up on her dream just as I had.

But then QuestGlobal Connect Foundation stepped in and supported my younger sister’s college education. She is now pursuing her B.Sc. without the constant worry of financial difficulties. What once felt impossible and what I believed was a dream that could never be achieved has now become a glimpse of hope. It truly felt like a miracle.

I am beyond grateful to the entire foundation especially the founder, whose name I would prefer not to mention. He personally went out of his way to ask for help and worked hard to find sponsors and donors to support my younger sister’s education. I will never forget the kindness and effort shown to my family during such a difficult time.

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I had always dreamed of continuing my education and pursuing postgraduate studies. However, due to financial difficulties within my family, that dream gradually began to feel beyond my reach. The cost of pursuing a master’s degree was a significant burden, and I reached a point where I almost gave up on continuing my education. I was prepared to put my academic aspirations on hold simply because I could not see how I would manage the financial requirements of postgraduate study.

It was during this difficult period that QuestGlobal Connect Foundation gave me an opportunity that changed the course of my future. After understanding my circumstances and academic aspirations, the foundation decided to support me throughout my two-year master’s programme by covering my semester fees for every semester. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Arts, and their support has given me the confidence and stability to continue my education without the constant uncertainty of whether I would be able to afford the next stage of my degree.

Their support has meant much more to me than financial assistance. It has given me the opportunity to continue learning, develop my abilities, and prepare myself for greater academic and professional opportunities. Instead of abandoning my aspirations because of circumstances beyond my control, I was given the chance to continue working towards the future I had envisioned for myself.

What makes this experience particularly meaningful is that the foundation did not simply help me overcome a temporary financial difficulty; they invested in my future. Their willingness to stand by me throughout my master’s degree demonstrated their belief in my potential and encouraged me to make the most of the opportunity I had been given.

Today, as I continue pursuing my master’s degree, I look at my future differently. What once seemed like an education I would have to give up has become a reality that I am actively working towards. Before joining the internship facilitated through QuestGlobalConnect Foundation, I had very limited professional experience. Although I was pursuing my studies and had developed theoretical knowledge, I often wondered how prepared I would actually be for a professional environment.
